Spring is in the air and the Easter Bunny is getting prepared for the first-ever Town Center Spring Easter Eggstravaganza, to be held from Noon-3:00pm at Central Park in Town Center!
The Spring Easter Eggstravaganza, free and open to the public, is guaranteed to provide a fun-filled family afternoon with all sorts of "eggstraordinary" spring things to do. Hop your way around the Central Park pond, where there will be inflatables, arts and crafts, games, a petting zoo with a wide variety of baby animals, pony rides, an egg hunt, and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny.
The Pirate Party on the Beach returns to the Virginia Beach oceanfront for two rollicking days of music, mayhem, and more! This family-friendly event features activities designed to bring out the “pirate” in everyone. Pirate games, a treasure hunt, and pirate re-enactors all combine to celebrate those scallywags we all wish we could be: pirates!
Presented by the Culinary Institute of Virginia, College of Culinary Arts of ECPI University, the East Coast She-Crab Soup Classic focuses on one of the region’s most-loved seafood delicacies. This highly identifiable cuisine has been a staple of area menus for decades.
Beach Music Cruise-In, combining bands on the beach and cars on the boardwalk, blends the best of the “oldies” with dancing under the stars in a jam-packed blast to the past! Friday-Sunday, May 10-12, settle into the sand as the top Beach Music bands from up and down the East Coast descend on the Virginia Beach oceanfront in a nostalgic salute to the “good old days” of cool cars and hot tunes. Stroll the boardwalk to view classic cars, hot rods, antiques, and more.
The Virginia International PAN Fest is a musical adventure set to the soothing sounds of steel pan music. The festival’s casual atmosphere appeals to the island community and people of all ages who are intrigued by the unique sounds and style of steel drum music! Fusing together the rhythm of steel bands, ocean breezes, and great international food, the breathtaking Virginia Beach oceanfront becomes an “island paradise” for the weekend.
Kite fliers and spectators of all ages will experience a visual feast at the Atlantic Coast Kite Festival. This popular event features a variety of activities appropriate for all ages and all levels of kite aficionados.
