About Us

BeachEvents is the events program presented by the City of Virginia Beach, with concerts, festivals, and activities held at the oceanfront resort area. A full array of events, ranging from the liveliest (LatinFest) to the quirkiest (Family Great Adventure Series) to the grandest (American Music Festival) entertains resort visitors and Hampton Roads residents alike throughout the year.

From mid-June through Labor Day Weekend the popular Live! On Atlantic (formerly known as BeachStreetUSA) program thrills audiences right on the sidewalks of Atlantic Avenue with magicians, jugglers, musicians, costumed characters, and more! When it comes to entertainment, there’s literally something for everyone most nights at the Virginia Beach oceanfront, and most of it is FREE!

The BeachEvents program is administered by IMGoing, based in Hampton Roads.  IMGoing manages the Portsmouth Pavilion and produces shows in other venues across the country.
