Canceled (Weather): Family Great Adventure Series

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED AS A RESULT OF THE THREAT OF INCLEMENT WEATHER.

The wildly-popular Family Great Adventure Series is all about Discovery and Entertainment at the Virginia Beach oceanfront.  On select nights from June through August, families can take part in interactive adventures themed to popular movies.  The adventure might lead you to various sites along the boardwalk or beach to unravel a mystery.  Sometimes the adventure involves games and contests right on the beach.  Dress up as your favorite character from the movies, compete for one of our trophies, and then settle into the sand for a family-friendly movie presented on a giant inflatable screen! 

All Family Great Adventures are free and everyone who participates gets a medal!

The task of your Archeological Team is to solve clues leading to a map that contains the exact location of the Lost City of Gold!  Read the map correctly, and you’ll dig up a treasure like none other.

National Treasure: Book of Secrets

Several years have passed since Benjamin Franklin Gates found the Knight's Templar and became rich and famous.  Now, another treasure hunter named Mitch Wilkinson has uncovered what appears to be a missing page of the diary of John Wilkes Booth, which contains clues to the location of a lost City of Gold.  Ben must compete against Mitch to find the lost city.  He travels to France and Great Britain to find other clues and even peeks inside the President's Secret Book to put the pieces of the puzzle together.  His parents and his friends also help Ben search for the lost city, trying the whole adventure to stay one step ahead of Mitch.
